All of this before your first page of curriculum pleaseš¬
āWaitingā for them to be ready to read? Do these things in the meantime and it will be soooo much easier.
There is so much that pre-readers and early readers need to be doing to get ready that is not on a worksheet.
Studies have shown that it takes approximately 400 repetitions to learn something new š³ but we can shorten that to 10-20 repetitions if itās in the form of PLAY?!
But⦠and this is bigā¦. the play needs to have focus.
It looks a whole lot like play, but the play is intentionally focusing on building specific skills.
If you are sick of the moaning and groaning that comes along with completing page after page of curriculum in your homeschool, letās meet!
Iām available for planning sessions that will help you make your homeschool more fun and simple ways to provide
MORE REPETITION (so needed) without it feeling repetitive.
These planning sessions are called āChoice Navigation Sessionsā and are always available at
https://booksuzanne.as.me
They are also available for reimbursement or direct pay with Step Up Scholarships.
What do you wish you could get help with?
From teaching for 17 years in schools to now homeschooling my own, believe me Iāve been there and have an idea that could help.
