It’s been an amazing month-and-a-half of shows. I’ve been in the audience, on the stage, directed, choreographed, managed the Front of House, or Stage Managed virtually nonstop since April. Every moment has been a privilege. Everyone I’ve worked with has been stellar. Every student has been my favorite. Grateful to do the work that I do. JUST as proud to be a regular person in the audience when my people are on stage. Humbled an honored when a fellow dance or theatre directors asks me to work on their own shows. Congratulations on an absolutely fabulous show, . I love you more than the Tonys. 😘

Had to step outside the moment for a little while. Had to talk it through. Had to acknowledge that just because there are only a handful who see my vision, who want to participate in it, doesn’t mean it’s less worthwhile than the expected, usual, typically more valued vision found elsewhere. Here, minus one, plus their families, is my Company. They are the ones, along with my own babies and a precious few others, who remind me why I’m here, and inspire me to go on. Much love. I’m so proud. Fabulous show.
