🎬✈️ OUR FIRST SENTINEL MOVIE NIGHT! 🍿🌅
Friday night looked a little different around the hangar… and we absolutely loved it. 🧡
For our very first Sentinel Services Group Movie Night, we invited our students, renters, staff, and their guests to put flying aside for an evening and simply enjoy being together.
And what better place to watch Top Gun: Maverick than at the airport?! ✈️
With the movie projected onto the hangar doors, airplanes parked nearby, the taxiway and runway lights glowing in the background, and an incredible Florida sunset to start the evening… we honestly couldn't have asked for a better setting.
There was popcorn, movie snacks, drinks, co****le, plenty of laughs, and most importantly—a chance for everyone to mix, mingle, and get to know the people they so often see coming and going around the flight school.
One of the things we strive for at Sentinel is to create something that goes beyond simply being a place to learn how to fly. We want to build a community. We want our students and renters to know one another, support one another, celebrate each other's accomplishments, and feel like they're part of our aviation family.
Seeing everyone sitting together on a Friday night, watching an aviation movie under the stars at the airport, made this first event incredibly special.
To everyone who came out and supported our first Movie Night, THANK YOU! 🧡 Your participation is what made the evening such a success.
Judging by this one… we think Sentinel Movie Night may just have to become a tradition. 😉🍿✈️

✈️🍌 Just another day at the office!
We recently celebrated Colton completing his 50-nautical-mile solo cross-country flight to Cedar Key, but these photos were simply too good not to share!
Between the incredible coastal views, a successful landing, and apparently finding time for an in-flight snack, Colton made the entire adventure look effortless. 😂 We love seeing the confidence he continues to build with every flight—and we are insanely proud of how far he has come!
Congratulations again, Colton! We hope your next cross-country flight is just as smooth—and that you remember to pack another banana! 🍌✈️

✈️ Please join us in congratulating Sentinel Services Group’s newest Private Pilot, Daniel! 🎉
Daniel passed his checkride today and officially earned his wings! Throughout his training, he has been focused, purposeful, and incredibly determined. Not much can keep Daniel down, and driven by his goal of becoming a pilot for his company, he has continued pushing forward and never given up.
Daniel’s personality and charisma make him an absolute joy to have around. He is also a devoted family man, and we have loved seeing the encouragement and support his family has given him throughout this journey.
We are especially excited that Daniel will be continuing his training with us as he works toward his additional ratings. He has become part of the Sentinel family, and we are so happy and honored to continue being a part of his aviation journey!
Congratulations, Daniel! You worked hard for this, and we could not be prouder of you. Welcome to the pilot community, Captain! 🛩️💙

🎉✈️ Another milestone in the books! Congratulations to Colton on successfully completing his 50 NM Solo Cross-Country! ✈️🎉
This is one of those unforgettable moments in a pilot's journey—taking an aircraft, trusting your training, and proving to yourself that you can do it. Seeing the smile on Colton's face when he returned said it all. He was incredibly proud of himself, and he absolutely should be.
Colton has been a part of the Sentinel Services Group family for quite some time through the PHSC Open Door Grant, working diligently toward his Private Pilot Certificate. Throughout his training, he has been an absolute pleasure to have around. He's always wearing a smile, brings a positive attitude with him, and even on the days when flying challenges him the most, he still shows up ready to learn and improve. That kind of determination is what makes great pilots.
We're so proud of everything you've accomplished so far, Colton. Every flight, every lesson, and every challenge has brought you one step closer to earning those wings. Keep believing in yourself—we certainly do.

Yesterday was a day to celebrate! 🎉✈️
A huge congratulations to Jessica on completing her FIRST SOLO! At just 17 years old and still in high school, she has already reached a milestone that many only dream about.
From day one, Jessica has brought so much enthusiasm, positivity, and determination to her flight training. Her excitement for aviation is contagious, and she has been an absolute joy to watch grow as a pilot. She is one of the sweetest young women you'll ever meet, and I couldn't be more proud of everything she has accomplished.
There is something incredibly special about watching a student take off alone for the very first time, but I have to admit, it always warms my heart a little extra to see another aviatrix spreading her wings. 💙
Jessica, this is only the beginning of an incredible journey. Keep chasing those dreams, keep working hard, and never lose that passion you bring every single day. The sky is certainly not the limit for you.

Congratulations to Sentinel Services Group's newest Private Pilot, Jon Pina! ✈️🎉
Jon's journey to becoming a Private Pilot has been uniquely his own. Like many aspiring aviators, there were moments when life pulled him in different directions, but he never gave up on his goal. He kept coming back, continued moving forward, and yesterday all of that perseverance has paid off.
Jon is also a Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) student who was awarded the Open Door Grant, and we are incredibly honored that he chose Sentinel Services Group to be part of his aviation journey. Being entrusted with the training of aspiring aviators is a responsibility we never take for granted, and watching students like Jon achieve their goals is one of the greatest rewards of what we do.
Over the course of his training, we've had the privilege of getting to know Jon not only as a student, but as a person. His work ethic, perseverance, and positive attitude have made him a valued member of our Sentinel family.
Jon, thank you for allowing us to be part of your story. We couldn't be more proud of what you've accomplished, and we can't wait to watch you continue your journey in aviation. The sky is no longer the limit, it's just the beginning.

A huge congratulations to Noah on successfully completing his 50 Nautical Mile Solo Cross-Country flight! ✈️
This is a major milestone in every pilot's journey, and it's one that takes dedication, preparation, confidence, and a lot of hard work. Noah has put in the time, stayed focused, and continued to push himself every step of the way to reach this achievement.
