This is the Anniversary of my Great Great Grandfather's passing. The N***s on this Jewish holiday forced him and his Jewish community into the forest nearby to dig their own grave. One of the Chabad-Lubavitch Rebbe's writes about him that he goes to the mikvah every day. Snow or summer in White Russia he would cut a hole in the iced over river to dunk in the mikvah every day. May Itche Nachum ben Aaron David (der Shmidt) Epstein's memory be for a blessing and his soul elevated.
