What a SWEET start to our production of Roald Dahl’s W***y Wonka Jr.! 🍫✨
Our first night was a tremendous success, with an overflowing auditorium filled with families, friends, alumni, and members of the community who came together to celebrate the incredible talent of our students.
Our students absolutely shined on stage, bringing energy, confidence, and heart to every performance. Behind the scenes, our faculty and staff worked tirelessly to support the production in every possible way, helping create a truly magical experience for all.
Months of hard work, creativity, and dedication came to life in the most beautiful way, and we could not be prouder of everyone involved.
A heartfelt thank you to our entire A. Fantis community for showing up with such enthusiasm and support. The excitement in the room reminded us exactly why the arts are such an important part of the A. Fantis experience. 🎭🍭
The show must go on… and we can’t wait for Night Two! 🌟

PAME ELLADA 2026 | Day 2 🇬🇷
Day 2 began in Patras with Divine Liturgy at the historic Cathedral of Saint Andrew, where our own Father Evagoras served.
Our students then traveled to Ancient Olympia, home of the ancient Olympic Games. After lunch, they received an excellent guided tour of both the museum and the archaeological site.
There, they learned about the origins of the Olympic Games and saw firsthand the place where athletes once gathered from across the Greek world, exploring some of the most important places in ancient Greek history, from the temples of Zeus and Hera to the gymnasium and athletic complex.
Of course, no visit to Olympia would be complete without a race. Our students finished their tour by running one stadium length on the ancient track.
Congratulations to our winner, Niko A.!
The day ended back in Patras with another wonderful meal together, enjoying the waterfront of our temporary home.
Next stop: Kalavryta!

PAME ELLADA 2026 — Day 1 🇬🇷
Day 1 brought our students safely to Greece, where they arrived in Athens and traveled west to Patras, one of the great historic cities of the Peloponnese.
After checking in and getting settled, the group visited the beautiful Cathedral of Saint Andrew, dedicated to the First-Called Apostle and patron saint of Patras. There, they received a tour of the Cathedral and were able to venerate the skull of Saint Andrew, as well as his cross. It was a meaningful first stop for our students as they began this journey through the faith, history, and culture of Greece.
The day ended with dinner together overlooking Patras.
We are grateful for a safe arrival and excited for all that is to come!

A truly special and unforgettable day at A. Fantis School 🇬🇷
We were deeply honored to welcome the Evzones, the Presidential Guard of Greece, to our school as part of the Greek Independence Day celebrations in the United States. Their visit was a powerful moment for our students, bringing history, tradition, and national pride to life in the most meaningful way.
Our students had the unique opportunity to meet the Evzones, learn about their service, understand the symbolism behind their uniform, and appreciate the discipline and honor that define their role.
Moments like these connect our community to our heritage and remind us of the values that continue to inspire generations.
