# # # πΊπΈ Remembering September 11 at A. Fantis
We are incredibly proud of our third graders and grateful to **Ms. Kateri** for creating a thoughtful and meaningful lesson to help our students understand and reflect on September 11.
During the lesson, our students were engaged, curious, and eager to share their ideas. We were also honored to welcome NBC into the classroom to capture this special learning experience.
On September 11, following morning prayer with our entire school community, our third graders shared what they had learned with students across A. Fantis. They spoke about their gratitude for our firefighters and the many people who serve and protect our communities.
Together, we reflected on an important message: how can we show gratitude and appreciation for the people who make a difference in our lives?
Moments like these remind us that education is about more than academics. It is about character, compassion, gratitude, and helping our students understand their place in the world.
We are so proud of the care and thoughtfulness our students brought to this important day, and so thankful to Ms. Kateri for helping them learn, reflect, and share. ππΊπΈ
