The Brooklyn Autism Center (BAC) is a private, non-profit school dedicated to providing high-quality education to individuals ages 5 to 21 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). BAC utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implemented within a 1:1 student:teacher ratio. We provide highly individualized educational plans which strive to increase meaningful skills and reduce the likelihood of interfering behaviors.

What a busy, work-filled Tuesday! ✨

Check out our friends at Space Club pairing and folding grippy socks!🧦 Today’s task is a great example of the wide range of strengths and abilities our students bring each day. While everyone had the same job—matching, pairing, and folding socks—each student completed it with the level of support that was right for them.

One student worked independently, another benefited from occasional prompts, and a third completed the task with full support. Different levels of assistance, the same opportunity to participate, contribute, and succeed.

We love seeing our students work together, each at their own pace, building confidence and meaningful life skills along the way. đź’™
