Parshat Noach came to life at Mazel! ๐ŸฆŽ๐Ÿ

When Noach brought the animals into the teivah, he brought one pair of non-kosher animals and seven pairs of kosher animals, saving them from the great flood. Noach cared for all the animals and fed them every day!

Our students got to meet some special reptile visitors and see amazing creatures up close! What a fun way to bring the parsha to life! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿข๐Ÿ’š

๐Ÿชถโœ๏ธ Our little Kindergarten scribes in action!

We learned how a Sofer (Hebrew for scribe) writes a mezuzah using special ink and a feather quill, and that inside are the first two paragraphs of Shema!

Then we got to try it ourselves, using black paint and real feather quills to write ืฉืžืข! ๐Ÿ–คโœจ

Three years.

Three years since October 7th. Three years since a day that changed the Jewish people forever.

Today, our students came together to remember, reflect, and honor the lives lost, the heroes who stood up, and the strength and resilience of Am Yisrael.

Together, we continue bringing light into the world, one mitzvah and one act of kindness at a time, making the world a brighter place.

We remember. We honor. We grow. We continue.

Am Yisrael Chai! ๐Ÿ’™

Sharing Sukkot joy! ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’›

Our 5th and 6th graders had the special opportunity on Chol Hamoed to visit local senior homes and spend time with the residents. They played games, made crafts, shook lulav and etrog, and most importantly, shared lots of smiles.

Our students did an amazing job connecting with and bringing joy to the residents. We are so proud of them! ๐Ÿ’™
