🌊 June flew by, and what an incredible month it has been at 123 Boerum Childcare! 💙

From celebrating Juneteenth and Father’s Day to diving into our Ocean Month adventures, our little learners have stayed busy exploring, creating, reading, discovering, and making wonderful memories together.

Sharing our newly updated daycare website for any parents currently researching childcare options in Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Downtown Brooklyn, Prospect Heights, and nearby neighborhoods.

We’re a licensed small group childcare program focused on creating a warm, engaging environment for little ones, with flexible scheduling options including full-day, half-day, and part-time care. The website now has updated photos, program details, daily routines, curriculum information, enrollment FAQs, and a closer look into what our days actually look like.

A lot of parents have told us they appreciate being able to really get a feel for a program before scheduling a tour, so we tried to make the site as informative and transparent as possible for families beginning their childcare search for summer or fall.

Yesterday at 123 Boerum Childcare, we spent the day celebrating Earth Day with hands-on, creative activities 🌎💚

The children painted rocks, made “dirt cups” (a fun and tasty favorite!), and created beautiful suncatcher globes to brighten our space. We also welcomed our new class pets—our caterpillars! Over the next few weeks, we’ll be observing their transformation into butterflies, which the children are already so excited about.

Moments like these are what make our days so special—learning through play, creativity, and real-life experiences.

We’ve been having such a sweet start to spring over at 123 Boerum Childcare 🌸

The children have been enjoying simple seasonal activities like a surprise visit from a bunny rabbit, collecting eggs, and even planting their own flowers 🌱 It’s been really special watching their excitement, curiosity, and little personalities come out during these moments.

We focus a lot on hands-on experiences, outdoor time, and creating a calm, engaging environment where children can explore and learn at their own pace.
