Today, our 11th graders enjoyed a picnic on school grounds. A nice way to enjoy the weather and each other’s company. 🧺☀️

In light of the end of the year and regents prep stress, the Good Dog Therapy provided us with a wonderful Dog Therapy experience today. Everyone meet Ahava! She is 12 years old, 130 pounds, and her calm and friendly demeanor was truly admired by our scholars. It was a very much needed therapeutic session. 🐾

The OHS Art Department had the pleasure of celebrating our OHS artists Baiyu, Elene, Ethan and Tahmid for their incredible artwork at the Brooklyn Borough Arts Festival at
Brooklyn Children’s Museum.

Baiyu and Ethan have incredible ceramics on view. Elene has a beautifully drawn portrait. Tahmid has an anti-vaping public service announcement video. We are thrilled because out of the hundreds of artist that applied to this competitive and prestigious show— our artists have been selected.

Congratulations to our talented scholars 🎨🖌️🖼️

OHS AI Class “10 Grade” attended the Tech School 2026 Makeathon with two teams: The Moving Ones and Digital Minds. We are proud to share that Digital Minds earned 2nd place! 🎉

Students participated in an exciting innovation challenge where they sketched ideas, designed solutions, and pitched their concepts using AI tools. Teams transformed AI-generated 2D images into 3D-printed wearable designs, developed apps to control and support their creations, and trained AI agents aligned with their project vision.

During the judging process, students showcased their app experience, delivered sales pitches, and interacted with AI agents while presenting their innovative work. Projects were evaluated on creativity, technical ex*****on, presentations, product apps, marketing AI agents, and overall design.

We are incredibly proud of our students for their teamwork, creativity, and dedication throughout this experience! 👏

GO DIGITAL OHS! 💻✨ Innovate • Create • Inspire
