Everything must go! Today is our final day at the Gowanus studio!! We are GIVING away everything we have left! Two mini fridges, speakers, fabric, white flats, a suitcase and table and chairs! We will be here from 3-6pm today or by appointment! Swing by 298 Butler to grab what you’d like! FREE!!

We have a few items left and up for sale (donation) that performing or visual artists might like. We will be at the space from 2-6:00pm today so come by (and take a look and take away!)

Spoke the Hub Dancing, a tax-exempt, not-for profit dance and community arts organization in the Gowanus since 1985, are sadly closing their Gowanus Arts Annex performance space at 298 Butler Street this week.

Suggested Donations mostly in $5 - $25 price range.
(Some special items and original art work range in price from $300 - $2,000.)

Join us this Saturday night for STH’s ‘Last Chance Dance Party’!

The fun begins at 6pm for some basic salsa and swing instruction from the inimitable . Come with a partner or by yourself!

Don't feel like dancing? Come listen to some terrific Jazz! At 7:30 we’ll welcome & The Heavenly Big Band to the stage! Art is a longtime friend of STH and has been getting our audiences up on their feet for decades! This 12 piece big band will be playing songs from their original repertoire with styles ranging from swing to samba, jazz ballads and bossa nova.

After the band we will groove and boogie to our favorite rock and roll hits into the night!

So come on down to our Gowanus space at 298 Butler and join us in bidding farewell to our home of 30+ years with this epic celebration of music, joy, community and… DANCE!

Local Produce in the Gardens continues tomorrow June 11th at 2pm at Union street Garden with dance performances from and music and a sing along from NeuroMotif. Join us for this free, family friendly event! Union between 4th and 5th Avenue at 2pm :)
