We are a grassroots association of hundreds of families who live in and around Downtown Brooklyn. We advocate for new schools in the neighborhood, share news about existing schools, and share information about family-friendly events in the area.

More news has been released about the two new schools finally opening next year in Downtown Brooklyn. District 13 will welcome P.S. 482, Albee Square Montessori School, the first Montessori public school in the city, while District 15 will have P.S. 456, an unzoned school near Barclays Center.

Brooklyn will open seven new public schools for the 2024 - 2025 year, including P.S. 331, the Detective Wenjian Liu School of Civics and Entrepreneurship.
