The Center for achievement in Science Education was created to increase diversity in science. The goal is to share expertise and services for students.

The Center for Achievement in Science Education (CASE) is a campus based initiative, designed to increase the number of underrepresented minorities who pursue degrees in science and math. It is an umbrella organization for several science programs on campus that, at one time, operated fairly independently albeit working towards similar goals. ✨👩🏾‍⚕️We have a winner!! Over the weekend, our CSTEP student Kasia presented her research on Understanding Childbirth Traumas at the 2025 Emerging Researchers National (ERN) Conference in STEM in Atlanta, GA. While there, she reconnected with peers and proudly took home 2nd place in her division! We’re so proud of her accomplishments and can’t wait to see where her journey takes her next.🗺️✨👩🏾‍🍼
