Preparing for the ACT? SAT? Any high-stakes exam? The instinct is often to do more worksheets.
But pages of practice won't build consistency.

Working each prompt the same way, every time, will.

A student told me "I don't have it. I'm not good at this," after months of test prep.

The problem? Nobody showed her what went wrong on a single problem.

See how the conversation went and what I did to challenge the industry.

Ask it this way and your child can usually tell you which one it was. Now you know what to work on.

Six months of tutoring, and your child’s practice scores look the same as they did in March.

The usual next move is to change the tutor. Or add a second one. Or book extra hours before the next test date.

But look at what those six months actually bought. Sessions, content review, practice tests, and then a review of the practice tests. All of it is more material.

Your child’s problem was never material. You’ve watched them explain this stuff at the kitchen table.

What nobody built in those six months is how your child works through a test while the clock is running. That doesn’t come from another content review, and it doesn’t come from more hours of the same thing. Practicing the same process over and over makes that process automatic, including the parts of it that don’t work.

So the plateau isn’t your child’s ceiling, and it isn’t proof the tutor was bad. The six months went into something your child already had.

Your child is busy from morning to night. School, coaching, tuition, practice.

And still, their scores won’t move.

Busy isn’t the same as better. Your child can study every waking hour and still drill the same mistakes.

Better prep isn’t about more hours. It’s about building a better process: one repeatable way to work every prompt.

Turn those hours into real progress with Answer GPS.

Your child can do a hundred more practice tests and still make the same mistakes.

Practice doesn't fix a flaw. It reinforces whatever your child is already doing, right or wrong.

So before you add more, find out what's going wrong. Otherwise you're paying to make the mistakes automatic.

Top of the class. Strong marks. And then a test score that doesn't seem to belong to the same child.

Your child knows the material cold. But an unfamiliar prompt makes them freeze, and the clock makes them hesitate on prompts they usually get right.

They studied harder. The score didn't move.

That gap isn't about knowledge.

It's something else, and it's fixable once you know what it is.

💬 Comment MAP and I'll send you the diagnostic quiz that shows you exactly what's going on.

A student of Nathan's in Dubai did everything they tell you to do. More hours. More practice tests. More drills. His score barely moved.

So he stopped adding and changed how he worked instead. One repeatable process on every prompt, in place of juggling ten strategies at once.

His next sitting was a 1480. His highest ever, 97th percentile, effectively his first real test with the new method.

What matters for you is this. The burnout was never the exam. It came from switching strategies under pressure. One process ends the switching, and the exhaustion goes with it.

That process is Answer GPS.

You watched them put in real hours at that kitchen table. The test still came back low. Sound familiar?

That gap between effort and outcome isn't a mystery, and it isn't your child's ceiling. It's data.

I'm Nathan Rayman, and I built Answer GPS around exactly that gap: "You learn it once. You use it on every test after."

To the student who told me "I'm just not good at this": I think about that sentence more than almost anything else I've heard in fifteen years of teaching.

It wasn't true, and talent had nothing to do with it. The gap was a brain that hadn't been taught how to execute under pressure.

Swipe through for the full story of what changed after that conversation.
