Meet Lorna, and her testimony on how she became an instructor:

"I started my career in EMS in 2000 and have been teaching CPR intermittently since 2006. I became a full-time CPR instructor in California at the beginning of COVID. It was challenging to get certified and maintain renewals due to emergency state regulations, but that experience turned it into a full-time endeavor I truly love. My passion comes from understanding out-of-hospital cardiac arrest survival rates and growing up in a very small, rural town where I know almost everyon: their parents, grandparents, children, and grandchildren. Having personally experienced the loss of friends and family, I understand how crucial these life-saving skills are while waiting for first responders to arrive. Being able to teach CPR not just to my community, but to others, and encouraging everyone to share this knowledge is what drives me. I absolutely LOVE what I do."
