The praise is pouring in for TK Actor Emmy Rossum and her gripping performance as Alice Black in Hulu’s Furious. The Guardian called the series “one of the year’s most outstanding shows,” and it has already been renewed for a second season.

We’re incredibly proud of and Terry is honored to have coached her throughout this series. Congratulations to Emmy and the entire Furious team on an extraordinary first season.

All episodes are now streaming on Hulu.

No feeling is off-limits.

Joy, fear, grief, shame, love. They are all part of being human, and for the actor, they are the paint with which we tell our stories.

The work is to experience life fully and allow every color onto the canvas. 🎨

At TKS, training isn’t about fitting an actor into an established mold. It begins with the individual—their habits, instincts, resistance, and potential.

Through moment-to-moment attention, instructors meet each student where they are and help them discover the next step forward in their work.

Train with C E L E S T I N E R A E in our Two-Year Conservatory or Part-Time Acting Program.

Classes start September 22nd.
Tuesdays, 7:00–9:30 p.m.
Saturdays, 1:00–3:30 p.m.

Applications are open. Apply at the link in bio.

Sometimes, training as an actor also means untraining.

The defenses we develop can become lodged in the voice and body, limiting the colors, impulses, and emotional range available to us.

Our Fall Voice & Movement Intensive helps actors release physical tension, deepen their relationship to breath and vibration, and develop greater freedom and responsiveness in the body. Together, this work opens the actor’s instrument and brings richer dimension to the acting.

“Now I’m doing instead of pretending to do.”

That’s the shift.

If you can’t get to NYC but you still want the best training, we’re coming to you. In our Online Acting Intensive you’ll deepen your emotional honesty, strengthen your impulses, and unlock the work that’s been just out of reach.
