Held at on Sept. 19, the expo gave students the chance to meet directly with HBCUs and other colleges, present their transcripts, and receive on-the-spot admissions decisions, fee waivers, and scholarships.

For Karizma M. '27, the day included an acceptance to —her #1 choice. Other seniors also received merit scholarship offers, with more awards still coming in.

Dr. Kevon Bruce, director of school counseling shared the news with seniors and their families in an email, including a special message to those who attended: "Watching you carry yourselves with professionalism, advocate for your academic records with pride and confidence was inspiring. The energy, poise, and drive you brought into the expo hall made all of us at Cristo Rey Brooklyn deeply proud."
