Summer camp 2026 is a wrap! The MVP award goes to Afsa, who worked all 8 weeks. She brought nothing but sunshine ☀️ and love for the children. 🫧

See you all in 2 weeks for the start of the 2026/27 school year 💛💛💛

Tous les chemins mènent à smith street maternelle. 💛

At the end of the school year in petite section à Gowanus, the children welcomed parents to their “grand musée,” an exhibition that ranged from bookmaking to sculpture to solar prints to documentation of neighborhood explorations.

The teachers followed the children’s leads all year long, listening closely and providing materials, time, and space to help their ideas come to life.

Trop, trop bien. 🥰

Le pont de Carroll Street est ouvert!! ☀️

We have been waiting 5 years for this! What a gift to the community. And how incredible is it that the bridge is for pedestrians🚶🏽 and cyclists 🚴🏻‍♀️ only. 🙌

Merci encore Council Member Shahana Hanif and Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani
