We loved having Alexis McLean, MS, OTR/L, one of our outstanding PP-OTD students at SUNY Downstate, join our Theory & Practice IV: Young Children (0–5) course as a guest lecturer! 🌟
Alexis brought real-world clinical insight into early childhood occupational therapy, helping our MSOT students connect theory to practice in meaningful, engaging ways. From developmental considerations to intervention strategies, her session highlighted the power of occupation-based, family-centered care in the early years.
This is what makes our PP-OTD community so special—practicing clinicians sharing expertise, mentoring future OTs, and strengthening the bridge between classroom learning and clinical impact.
