Clayworks on Columbia

10/13/2026

Jill Bell’s Sculpture Workshop closes this Friday, October 16.

Jill has spent nearly a decade at Clayworks and founded the Brooklyn Ceramic Arts Tour, and she has a real gift for giving clay a point of view. Her pieces don’t just sit on a shelf; they tell you something. Over two Sundays (October 18 + 25, 12:30–3:30 PM), she’ll show a small group how to build forms with that same sense of story and character.

If you’ve been thinking about it, now’s the time. We’d love to have you there.

Jill Bell

Jill Bell is taking over the studio for a two-part sculpture workshop: coiling, slabs, building solid and carving back out, plus all the surface and texture tricks that make a piece feel alive. Come with an idea or come with nothing at all — you’ll leave with new methods and a much clearer sense of what you want to make.

October 18 + 25
12:30 - 3:30PM
$175
All skill levels welcome!
