O'Malley Irish Dance Academy Promoting Irish culture through the art of Irish Dance since 1994. Locations in Brooklyn & Breezy Point, NY Fun is had by both children, teens and adults.

Our students include men and women ranging in age from 3 1/2 to 65+! They have been very active in the Marine Park community of Brooklyn, NY, and the Breezy Point community in Queens, appearing at many fund-raisers, parades and parties. Performances include such venues as Shea Stadium / Citi Field, Prudential Center, for the NY Liberty, the Brooklyn Nets, the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Great Irish Fair and as an opening act for Black 47 concerts. Many of the students represent the Academy at various feisianna (competitions) and are quite successful. Many of whom enjoy performing in many of our shows and in local, regional, national and world competitions. Members of our adult classes currently hold two of the top 3 spots in the Mid Atlantic Region. Of course, competition is only for those who wish to learn at that level. Many of our students simply enjoy learning new steps and dances at our classes every week. Our classes focus on core strength, conditioning, overall body fitness and confidence building. Whether a student chooses to do it just for fun or go all the way to the World Championships, our classes are tailored to meet any and all needs!

HUGE Congratulations to our amazing dancers who performed all week at the legendary Breezy Point Teen Show! They graced the stage with such talent (also while navigating in between our own practices in Brooklyn ). This is what success looks like ! Thanks to the TEEN SHOW for always giving the young people of the area a “right of passage”, an experience they won’t forget (& for always including Irish dance !!). We KNOW what goes into a production like that —- and to be doing it for 54 years !!!!!! Congratulations to all involved!

What a wonderful night at the Brooklyn Cyclones Irish Night. This was the 25th one we’ve done! Something to be said for seeing the kids (now adults) in the stands that did this 2 decades ago with me ! I’m so proud of our dancers and so grateful for the family we’ve built!
