Educators, counselors, social workers, and youth workers are expected to create magic with limited time, money, and resources. It becomes stressful and frustrating when you don't have the time or resources to develop the quality lesson plans, activities, or programs you want for your students or participants. Over the years, I have developed activities, lesson plans, curriculums, and programs designed specifically to meet the needs of urban multi-cultural youth. I have done the research, I've tested and successfully implemented the activities and programs. I have used the lessons I have learned to inform best practices and have purposefully designed the information in this blog to meet the needs of educators, counselors, social workers, and youth workers. I am passionate about what I do, and I have dedicated my life to supporting youth in becoming empowered in order to prevent them from becoming casualties of negative life events. Through our work as educators, we have the privilege and the power to guide and inspire our young people. This blog affords me the opportunity to provide proven successful techniques and methodologies to save you time, energy, and resources.
