Mathnasium of Boerum Hill Mathnasium is a math enrichment program offered year round to students K-12. We are located in Boer Assessments are always complimentary.

We believe mathematics is of utmost importance to the education of elementary and middle school students. Developing a strong understanding of the fundamentals of math is critical to a student's academic success. Many times however, concepts introduced and practiced in the classroom are never mastered. What results are gaps in a student's mathematical literacy that can frustrate even the brightest

child. Mathnasium (www.mathnasium.com) teaches "Number Sense" and instills in students a deep understanding and lifelong passion for mathematics. Academic confidence is built and carried back to the classroom and beyond. To begin, using an oral and written assessment, we identify these gaps and assembles a customized learning plan for the student. The student then attends Mathnasium, twice a week, for a math workout with one of our highly qualified instructors. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and students to identify areas requiring focus. This time of year, many students are preparing for the upcoming NY state math test. It’s also important to include Mathnasium in your summer plans as so much is lost out of school. We opened this center in May, 2011 and are privileged to work with over 100 students a week.
