Kingsborough EMT students were put to the test during our Annual Paramedic Simulation Competition, held as part of EMS Week. 🚑🚨
Five teams of students responded to surprise emergency scenarios on campus, including simulated incidents outside the G Building and inside the EMS Simulation Center. With no advance warning of what they would face, students had to rely on their training, teamwork, communication, clinical decision-making, and patient care skills in a realistic emergency response setting.
Events like this help prepare our students for the demands of the field while showcasing the strength of Kingsborough’s EMS program.

An investiture is an historic ceremony that officially confers the authority of a new college president — a public transfer of the Presidential Medallion, the title, and the weight of the role. On May 7, CUNY will hold this ceremony at Kingsborough, continuing a decades-long tradition as Dr. Suri Duitch is formally installed as the College’s eighth president. The event marks President Duitch’s acceptance of the role and of the responsibility of building on Kingsborough’s legacy as a beacon of equity and upward mobility, in Brooklyn, for all New Yorkers. We look forward to the future of Kingsborough under her leadership!
