Let’s make history during Pride Month!
Did you know that there are only a handful of schools designed specifically to support LGBTQ+ youth and their families in the United States? Yet it’s clear that students are not getting the support they need in their traditional schools. 🎒✨We can change this!
🌈Miss Major Middle School (MMM) empowers all students to learn and achieve individual success within an academically rich, joyful, inclusive, and 💖 genderful 💖environment. MMM creates a space where students are agents of justice, where their identities are affirmed, their voices are heard, and their humanity is celebrated.

chools should be safe spaces for all students. Miss Major Middle School (MMM) is a groundbreaking, inclusive middle school for LGBTQ+ youth, allies, and families.
Help make MMM a reality. Next month there’s a vote to decide if MMM opens its doors as one of NYC’s new, free public charter schools. Learn more about MMM and the ways you can support: https://missmajormiddle.org/

He has worked with BIPOC students in various areas of NYC and is a big advocate for educational equity for all students. Throughout his experience in the education sector Peter had learned the importance of learning as a teacher and teaching skills he’s learned throughout his life. On why he became a teacher “I know it’s my calling..” Swipe to hear a little more about his story.
