Professor Peter Lin was selected to participate in the 2026 Mind & Life Summer Research Institute, held at the Garrison Institute in New York from June 7–12, 2026. The highly competitive institute brings together a diverse international cohort of scientists, contemplatives, educators, clinicians, and policymakers to explore the theme, *“Depolarization: Cultivating Connection in a Divided World.” Through interdisciplinary dialogue, contemplative practice, and collaborative inquiry, participants examine how contemplative science can foster individual well-being, social connection, and positive societal change.
