Congratulations to Mark Rogers Jr. on being called up to the Montserrat men’s national team for the Concacaf Nations League! 🇲🇸👏

Montserrat will face the Turks and Caicos Islands on Sept. 23 and the British Virgin Islands on Sept. 26.

Rogers also represented Montserrat at the U-20 level and has made one appearance for the senior team, scoring one goal.

The has announced that Medgar Evers College, CUNY standout Kevin Blackstock Jr. has been tabbed the Rookie of the Week (Sept. 14-20) for the second time in three weeks! Blackstock Jr. scored three goals in two matches, keeping the Cougars unbeaten in 2026!

Medgar Evers College men's soccer freshman Kevin Blackstock Jr. has been named the CUNYAC Rookie of the Week for the period of September 14–20, marking the second time this season that he has earned the conference's weekly rookie distinction.

The men's soccer team continued its historic start to the 2026 season Thursday evening, earning a convincing 3-0 victory over York College in the Cougars' home and CUNYAC opener at the York College Athletic Complex. With the victory, the Cougars improved to 4-0-1 overall (1-0 CUNYAC), remaining unbeaten through its first five matches. York dropped to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in conference competition.

Newcomer Mouhammadou Diallo was the star offensively, registering a pair of goals and adding an assist. Kevin Blackstock Jr. contributed a goal as well, and Mamadou Seye and Shammar Edwards collected an assist apiece.

Goalkeepers Clirian Nunez and Vendel Joseph combined for the clean sheet, with each logging 45 minutes and making a save.

Medgar Evers College men’s soccer rookie Shackoneal Myrurrie has been selected the Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week (9/7-9/13). Myrurrie enjoyed a spectacular week offensively, recording four goals and one assist over the course of two matches.
