Want to learn about comedy writing? Join us tomorrow to hear from Julie Klausner! Julie Klausner is the creator, writer and star of Hulu’s critically acclaimed ‘Difficult People’. Julie was most recently co-executive producer on season 3 of ‘Schmigadoon!’ for Apple TV+, which she also co-executive produced and wrote for seasons 1 and 2. She was head writer and co-executive producer for seasons 1 – 4 of ‘Billy On The Street’. Additional writing credits include ‘Mulaney’, ‘Triumph & Jack’, ‘Best Week Ever with Paul F. Tompkins’, and ‘The Big Gay Sketch Show’.

Join Keith David, one of the stars of Spike Lee’s riveting film CLOCKERS, as the LIU Film School salutes its 30th anniversary on Friday, January 24th at 7PM in the Kumble Theater of LIU Brooklyn (1 University Plz 11201).
We will be screening CLOCKERS, a film about a street-level drug dealer from Brooklyn who becomes entangled in a murder investigation, and Keith David will share some stories about the film’s production.
