QCAANY Leadership Team Supports Queen’s College Through Key Educational and Athletic Donations.

Members of the QCAANY Leadership Team—Vice President Jonathan Subrian, Treasurer Venita Khan, and Organizing Secretary Selwyn Hestick—recently visited Queen’s College, where they made several meaningful donations in support of vital school initiatives.

The contributions included financial assistance for students’ successful educational trip to Mexico City, enriching their academic and cultural experiences. Additional support was provided to the Queen’s College Chess Club, enabling student participation in the Central American and Caribbean Youth Chess Festival in Puerto Rico, where the team delivered an outstanding performance against regional competitors.

In further support of student development and school athletics, funding was also allocated to the girls’ Volleyball and Basketball teams, along with the donation of cricket equipment, generously provided courtesy of Starr Party Rentals.

These contributions highlight QCAANY’s continued commitment to fostering educational excellence, athletic growth, and extracurricular achievement among Queen’s College students, while strengthening the partnership between the alumni community and the institution.

All roads lead to Liberty Avenue and 133rd Street on Sunday March 29th for the Annual Liberty Avenue Phagwah parade. Come join QCAANY as we participate and celebrate our cultural diversity and heritage, and welcome the spring season!!
