Happy World Parkinson's Day!🩵

In honor of the special day, this preview of our contribution to the Together We Dance project of the World Parkinson Congress captures what dance makes possible: resilience, community, and the power of moving together.

At Dance for PD, every gesture tells a story, and every dancer brings something essential to the whole. Join us in celebrating the artistry and strength of people living with Parkinson's around the world.

To wrap up Women's History Month and kick off Parkinson's Awareness Month, we caught up with Dance for PD Co-founder and Visionary, Olie Westheimer. 🩵

Olie recalled the early days of Dance for PD, with founding DfPD dancers, John Heginbotham, Misty Owens, David Leventhal, pianist Richard Bennett, and students. She called the early classes "fun, collaborative, and exciting."

We hope you enjoy this quote from Olie about the global impact of Dance for PD.
