’Twas the night before school, and all through the place,
Excitement was building with smiles on each face! 😊

The backpacks were blessed, the supplies all arrived,
And our summer school family feeling excited and alive! 🎒✨

The festival brought summer to a wonderful end,
With games for the kids and fun to extend! 🎪🎈
An inflatable obstacle course brought plenty of cheer,
And the faculty & coaches took the dunk tank plunge—what a way to end the year! 💦😂

The books are on desks, the classrooms look bright,
And our teachers are ready to welcome you tomorrow just right! 📖🍎

The halls may be quiet and empty tonight,
But tomorrow they’ll burst with laughter and light! 💚

So rest up, STM families, the big day is near—
A brand-new school year is finally here! 🎉

💚 Faculty Retreat at Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine 💚

What a beautiful way to begin our school year together! 🙏✨ Our faculty spent Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, beginning with a beautiful Mass in the Grotto, celebrated by Fr. Don. What a blessing to gather in such a peaceful and sacred space and place our school year in God’s hands. 🕊️

The day continued with meaningful and memorable activities led by two veteran Catholic school leaders. We learned about St. Ignatius of Loyola through a fun and engaging play and reflected on his belief that we can see God in everything. ✝️

And then came a little friendly competition! 👩‍🍳🍽️ Faculty teams created appetizers inspired by the television show Chopped, followed by a trust walk that challenged us to listen, communicate, and rely on one another. 🤝

We ended our day with quiet time for journaling and praying The Examen, reflecting on where we experienced God throughout the day and recognizing His presence in both the big moments and the small ones. 🙏📖

We left our retreat energized, renewed, and excited to begin a new school year! 💚 We are committed to nurturing our own faith so that we can better nurture the faith of our students, and to remembering, each and every day, to see God in everything! ✨

💚 Meet Our Instructional Aides! 💚

Our classroom teachers do not do it alone! We are so grateful for the dedicated instructional aides who work alongside our teachers each day to support our students and help our classrooms thrive.

Whether they are working with individual students, reinforcing skills, providing extra support, helping with classroom routines, or simply offering an encouraging smile, our instructional aides make a tremendous difference in the lives of our students. Their patience, flexibility, and commitment allow our teachers to give students the individualized attention they need to learn and grow.

We are also incredibly grateful for our amazing maintenance team! 🔧🧹 They worked tirelessly throughout the summer to make sure our building was clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for our students and staff to return. From big projects to the countless little details that often go unnoticed, their hard work helped prepare STM for another wonderful school year. We are so thankful for all they do!
