It's Friday night and we're vibing still in our hearts, reliving the sweet music played on the steel pan! 🎶✨

Throwing it back to last Sunday at the Caribbean Music Awards Stars & Steel concert in Trinidad. The energy was unmatched, but nothing topped hearing Shenseea's massive anthem "Hit & Run" reimagined with that beautiful, sweet steel pan orchestration!

Even days after the big CMA weekend, that infectious rhythm is still on repeat in our heads.

Massive congratulations to SHENYENG for walking away with the most dancehall wins at the 2026 Caribbean Music Awards, including back-to-back Female Dancehall Artist of the Year honors! Pushing the culture forward globally! 🐉🔥

A Letter to Our CEO,

Mom, we’ve watched you in action for decades. I still remember seeing you at a WIADCA's breakfast during your final year as president, after ten and a half years of service, and wondering, How does she do it all?

You were leading WIADCA, serving as a director at Kings County, and earning your graduate degree in nursing—all while being a mother to us. Then you took on the work of honoring your father, Carlos Lezama, the founder of WIADCA, by creating CLACC-C to continue his legacy and now a GALLERY that honors his life's work.

I am beyond honored to share this stage with you as we receive the 2026 Power Women of Brooklyn Caribbean Impact Award from Schneps Media. Thank you to Nelson King of Caribbean Life News for nominating us for this prestigious award. ❤️

From the powerful, soul-stirring vocals and passionate dancers to the unforgettable sound of our beloved national instrument—the steel pan—every moment was pure excellence. What a spectacular celebration of music, movement, culture, and Caribbean talent! 🔥🎶
