Our Mission: Red Hat Day Care exists to provide a safe, nurturing multicultural environment for community children. We strive to offer every child a stimulating care and education experience that accounts for each child’s abilities, and promotes social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. Our goal is to sponsor children’s desire to be life-long learners. Our Approach: A child’s early years are crucial for building her future. Studies show that children who receive solid preschool education have better vocabularies, mathematical skills and reading abilities. This advantage is even more pronounced for children of immigrants whom we prepare to enter mainstream kindergarten instead of ESL classes. Our Facility: We offer a guarded yet rich environment where your preschool children can explore their interests. Colorful toys, educational stations and a professionally equipped backyard provide ample opportunities to learn and interact. Our Faculty: Come and meet our teachers. From the Toddler class, to Preschool, to Pre-K, to Gifted & Talented, to Music and Dance, and other Weekend Programs our staff was handpicked to fulfill our mission.

Today, our little learners practiced recognizing and copying different symbols through a fun music game! 🎶✏️ The children looked at each symbol and copied it onto their own paper. Cheerful music made the activity even more exciting!

This playful activity helped strengthen their visual recognition, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination while building important pre-writing skills. Learning through play is so much fun! 🌟

Our little apple makers had a fun-filled fall adventure creating their very own apples! 🎨🍎 Using colorful paper, glue, beans, and sunflower seeds, our 3K friends explored creativity while strengthening their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and concentration.
As they carefully squeezed glue and placed each seed, they practiced finger control, sensory exploration, counting, and early math skills through hands-on learning! 🌻🫘
The classroom was filled with curiosity, creativity, and proud little smiles as each child brought their apple masterpiece to life! ❤️

Today, our little learners had so much fun exploring colors and textures through a hands-on sensory activity! 🎨💕 By squishing, pressing, and moving colorful materials, they strengthened their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity, and sensory awareness. This week, we explored friendship—how to make friends, invite others to play, and show kindness. The children created a Friendship Book by drawing their friends, helping them celebrate their friendships and feel connected to our classroom community. We also worked on name puzzles, played together, and helped one another during lunch. These activities encouraged cooperation, name recognition, and caring for others. We had so much fun learning together! 💛

Our friends have been busy exploring, creating, and having fun through hands-on play! 🥰 From building colorful structures with blocks and magnetic tiles 🧱 to expressing their creativity through arts and crafts 🎨, engaging in imaginative play with toys, and discovering the joy of books 📚, every activity is an opportunity to learn!
Through these playful experiences, our 3K friends are strengthening their fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, creativity, language development, and social skills. 🌟
