School will be closed Monday, May 25 through Wednesday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day, Professional Development Day, and Eid al-Adha. Tuesday, May 26 is an asynchronous learning day.

On Friday, May 22nd, Memorial Day is around the corner and we’re turning the building all WHITE for Spirit Day!

NYS Science testing for 5th graders will begin this morning.

BCS, we’re almost there! As we push through testing season and close out a year full of rigorous learning, it’s time to get ready to celebrate and LIGHT UP the night together!

Join us on Friday, May 29th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM right here at Brooklyn Charter School for an unforgettable evening filled with music, dancing, and a little SOUL GLO!

By the time we hit the dance floor, testing will be behind us, so come ready to unwind, celebrate, and glow up!

General Admission: $5.00 (Adults & Children)

Glow items will be available for purchase to keep you shining all night long!

This is a school-wide fundraising event, and your support helps us continue creating unforgettable experiences for our scholars.

PLEASE NOTE: Each ticket admits 1. Adults & Children alike must purchase tickets. Children must also be accompanied by an adult age 18+ in order to attend. Chaperone must be present for the duration of the event.
