Today, our BSCA students gathered for Mass and had a very special reason to celebrate—we were able to wish Father José a very Happy Birthday!

At the end of Mass, our students surprised him by singing “Happy Birthday” to him, creating a beautiful and memorable moment filled with smiles and love. 🎶

We are grateful for Father José and for everything he does for our students, families, and school community. We wish him a wonderful birthday and a year ahead filled with happiness, good health, and many blessings. 🎂 City Line Ozone Park Civilian PatrolCatholic Schools of Brooklyn & QueensBlessed Sacrament Church Cypress HillsBlessed Sacrament St. Sylvester ChurchCypress Hills Local Development CorporationThis is Ozone Park, Queens, NYOzone Park Civic AssociationOzone Park Residents Block Association (OZPKRBA) | Ozone Park Voice NewsSantisimo SacramentoArchbishop Molloy High School

At BSCA, our students are at the heart of everything we do. We care about their learning, their happiness, their well-being—and most importantly, their safety. 👩🏻‍⚕️

That’s why our teachers and staff recently came together for CPR training. While we hope we never have to use these skills, we believe it is important to be prepared for the unexpected and know how to respond when it matters most. 👩🏻‍🏫

A very special thank you to the FDNY Hispanic Society for taking the time to come to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Academy and train our faculty and staff. We are truly grateful for your time, dedication, and commitment to helping us keep our students safe. 🚒

We’re especially proud that every floor of our school has trained staff members # ready to respond in the event of an emergency. It’s one more way we can surround our students with care and make sure there is always someone nearby who is prepared to help. ⛪️

Our teachers and staff do so much more than teach lessons. Every day, they guide, comfort, encourage, protect, and care for our children as if they were their own. ❤️

Thank you to our incredible BSCA family for taking this responsibility so seriously and for continuing to learn and prepare—not because we expect an emergency, but because our children are worth being ready for. 🙏 City Line Ozone Park Civilian PatrolCatholic Schools of Brooklyn & QueensBlessed Sacrament Church Cypress HillsBlessed Sacrament St. Sylvester ChurchCypress Hills Local Development Corporation@topfansOzone Park Residents Block Association (OZPKRBA) | Ozone Park Voice NewsSantisimo Sacramento BrooklynThis is Ozone Park, Queens, NY

Our Kindergarten students are busy creating, building, and letting their imaginations lead the way! Through hands-on activities, they are developing creativity, fine-motor skills, problem-solving, and confidence—all while having fun.

At BSCA, we believe that learning happens in so many beautiful ways. Sometimes, it looks like colorful pieces on a table, little hands at work, and big imaginations coming to life! At Blessed Sacrament Catholic Academy, our morning assembly is more than just a gathering—it is a time for our students to come together, share their gifts, and begin the day as a community.

This morning, one of our students proudly played the guitar while his classmates joined in singing. ❤️ What a beautiful way to start the day! A moment to celebrate at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Academy! 💙💛

We are proud to share the findings of our recent Cognia Accreditation Engagement Review. The review recognized BSCA for the strong culture we work every day to build—one rooted in our Catholic faith, respect, fairness, and genuine care for every student. ✨

The evaluators highlighted our commitment to supporting the academic, social, emotional, and personal needs of our students, as well as our growing clubs, after-school programs, athletics, academic supports, and strong partnerships with our families. They also recognized our use of data and family feedback to help guide decisions and continuously improve the education we provide.

Most importantly, this report reminds us that accreditation is not simply a recognition—it is a journey of continuous improvement. We celebrate how far we have come while continuing to grow, learn, and find new ways to serve our children and families.

We are grateful to our students, families, teachers, staff, leadership, and entire BSCA community for being part of this journey. Together, we continue to make Blessed Sacrament Catholic Academy a place where children are known, supported, challenged, and loved. ❤️

This is our family. This is our mission. This is BSCA.

Our 8th graders are exploring waves in the real world and discovering how science connects to the technology we use every day. Through their lesson on frequency and wavelength, students are learning about the electromagnetic spectrum and how different types of waves are used in technology.

From identifying different electromagnetic waves to creating mini-posters and explaining their real-world uses, our students are putting their learning into practice and making meaningful connections between science and everyday life. 💡📚 City Line Ozone Park Civilian PatrolCatholic Schools of Brooklyn & QueensBlessed Sacrament Church Cypress HillsBlessed Sacrament St. Sylvester ChurchCypress Hills Local Development CorporationOzone Park Civic AssociationThis is Ozone Park, Queens, NYOzone Park Residents Block Association (OZPKRBA) | Ozone Park Voice NewsSantisimo Sacramento Brooklyn@topfans

Yesterday, our Pre-K students had so much fun learning about colors using food coloring. Watching their little faces light up as they mixed colors, made discoveries, and proudly showed what they created was priceless. 🌈🎨

These are the moments that make us smile—the simple moments when our children are learning, exploring, laughing, and just being happy.
