Hamesivta Yeshiva for boys, offers educational program to prepare young men to live their lives as Chasidim.
From the very beginning, the 117-year-old United Lubavitcher Yeshiva, founded in Russia for a select group of boys, charged its students with being “illuminating lights” – neiros leho’ir – wherever life would take them. If we punish, scream or criticize our children when they make a mistake, we teach them to hide their mistakes and lie to cover them up. We need to teach our kids that it's okay to make a mistake. One way is to lead by example, when you make a mistake, own up, say "I made a mistake"

This remedial program was created to transition 8th graders into a high school that provides a full English curriculum. Our remedial program covers skill based learning and will work hand-in-hand with P3 to maximize outcomes. Students will be assessed bi-weekly and parents will continuously receive progress reports of their child's advancement. Upon completion of our program, whether you decide to continue on with us to Hamesivta or another Yeshiva, your child will have the ability and confidence to start 9th grade secular learning. Location in Crown heights to be determined. For more information please contact whatsapp 718-255-6556

This is not about the highly routed “open communication and the ability to discuss anything.” It's about getting along and liking each other. You don’t need to have deep conversations, and your child doesn’t need to feel like he can “talk to you about anything.” I’m talking about enjoying each other's company. The only way you can influence your child is if you enjoy a positive relationship with each other. If you want your child to learn from you, they need to like you and get along with you.
