Preparing students for the future means being part of the conversations shaping it.

St. Francis College President Tim Cecere joined fellow leaders at City & State New York’s 2026 Economic & Workforce Development Summit for the panel “Driving Innovation, and Economic Competitiveness,” exploring how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are transforming New York’s economy and what those changes mean for education, innovation, and the future of work.

Joined at the summit by members of the SFC cabinet, President Tim represented the College’s commitment to preparing students for an evolving workforce.

Still recovering from Terrier Tuesday!!!

Yesterday’s campus was pure chaos in the best way: esports battles, giant Jenga showdowns, a DJ-powered dance floor, and a packed Club Fair.

Brother Greg Cellini was honored with the Feast of the Portiuncula Award before more than 500 guests at St. Anthony’s High School.

Observed each year on August 2, the Feast of the Portiuncula commemorates the little chapel of St. Mary of the Angels in Assisi, where St. Francis embraced a life of humility, service, and reconciliation.

There is no one more deserving than Brother Greg. For years, his faith, compassion, and quiet leadership have touched countless lives and strengthened the Franciscan mission that defines our College.

This week, faculty, staff, and friends gathered for a community breakfast to celebrate him.

Congratulations, Brother Greg, and thank you for the example you set every day.

International students in undergraduate or graduate degree programs are now eligible to receive a $525 scholarship by referring a friend to SFC.

Referred students can apply to join any of our undergraduate or graduate degree programs and become part of the Terrier community.
