Meet the newest members shaping the future of SFC:

Arianna Sartzetakis, an investment banker and business operations expert, and a proud SFC alumna.

Dr. Kenya V. Beard, EdD, AGACNP, ANEF, FAAN, FADLN, a nurse leader and healthcare policy expert driving clinical excellence nationwide.

Kathleen A. Mills, CPA, a financial leader and corporate executive with 15+ years in public accounting, and a proud SFC alumna.

Rev. Anthony Balakishore (Kishore) Nagothu, a minister and community leader serving Downtown Brooklyn and Brooklyn Heights.

Join us in welcoming Arianna, Kenya, Kathleen, and Father Kishore to the Board of Trustees.

Brother Greg Cellini was honored with the Feast of the Portiuncula Award before more than 500 guests at St. Anthony’s High School.

Observed each year on August 2, the Feast of the Portiuncula commemorates the little chapel of St. Mary of the Angels in Assisi, where St. Francis embraced a life of humility, service, and reconciliation.

There is no one more deserving than Brother Greg. For years, his faith, compassion, and quiet leadership have touched countless lives and strengthened the Franciscan mission that defines our College.

This week, faculty, staff, and friends gathered for a community breakfast to celebrate him.

An extraordinary evening at the St. Francis College Charter Award Dinner at 320 Park Avenue.

We honored Chairman Emeritus Thomas J. Volpe, a visionary whose 50+ years of leadership and unwavering belief in our students have shaped everything SFC is today.

President Tim Cecere reminded us that the true measure of an institution is found in the lives it touches, the opportunities it creates, and the students it empowers. Rooted in Franciscan values, SFC continues to move forward with purpose and confidence.

The real stars of the evening were our students. Their stories and achievements reminded every donor, trustee, and alumnus in the room exactly why their support matters. Every scholarship, every partnership, and every act of generosity opens a door for a student who needs it most.
