Congrats to all our students who took part in our December recital. Felt so good to be in our beautiful new home studio at 190 Duffield Street (aka St. Boniface in Downtown Brooklyn). Have a happy holiday, everybody! You've earned it.

Meet our teachers - Nathan Reising is an experienced performer and teacher with a wide range of musical interests. Classically trained on piano from the age of 4, he eventually developed an interest in jazz and went on to study jazz saxophone and piano at the New England Conservatory in Boston, MA. Nathan enjoys working with students of all ages and musical interests, from young beginners to aspiring pros. He specializes in teaching jazz, improvisation, pop music, and songwriting.

Short daily practice beats long cramming sessions —v 10 minutes a day can make big progress.

Meet our teachers - William Charles Wagner is a professional bassist, keyboardist, composer and educator based in Brooklyn, NY. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Jazz Studies from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He has served as music director for two off-Broadway musicals at Theater for the New City for the productions of “Romeo & Juliet” and “Frankenstein.”He has shared the stage with Bill Cunliffe, Fareed Haque, J.D. Allen, Jason Rebello (Sting), John Von Ohlen (Stan Kenton), and Josiah Wolf (Why?), to name a few. As a composer, he has received a Downbeat Award for Composition and has released multiple EPs of original works, available on streaming platforms everywhere.

All Ages Welcome - From beginners to advanced players, children to adults—we tailor lessons for every student.

Meet our teachers - Graeme Gengras is a pianist and producer originally from Portland, Maine. Since moving to NYC in 2018 he has become involved in all aspects of the city's diverse music scene as a jazz pianist, backing up R&B singers, playing keyboards for bands of all kinds and as an accompanist at Middle Church in the East Village where he is a regular sub for the Jerriese Johnson Gospel Choir. Outside of performing and creating, Graeme enjoys teaching and sharing his love for music with students of all ages.

Our all time greatest studio space for lessons! Amazing acoustics, dramatic architecture, mood lighting, state of the art AC and heat, and the meticulously maintained Steinway piano ain't bad either.
