Stanford University is looking for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and caregivers of children/adults with IDD to participate in a research study about their experiences in the emergency department. The purpose of the study is to understand the health care experiences of people with IDD.

Kayla Williams is a Self-Advocate LEND trainee in the Brooklyn LEND program. She is passionate about expanding her skills and sharing her story in order to support others with disabilities in speaking up and to help educate students and professionals by sharing her lived experience.
Matt Brady is a music therapist and licensed creative arts therapist. He is a graduate of the Brooklyn LEND program and is currently on faculty of the LEND program as a clinical training supervisor. Matt is passionate about collaborating with people with neurodevelopmental disabilities to find meaningful ways to express themselves, share their voice, and engage within the community.
