I see so many facial massage and buccal massage therapists just pulling the tissue upwards over and over and over again.
Practitioners who understand fascia create results that are more consistent and lasting.
If you'd like to explore this approach, comment LASTING below.
It’s like they’re thinking “if I just pull or push hard enough or often enough, the muscles will just comply”.
Maybe. But for how long? And at what cost to you and your client?
Are you communicating with the fascia to enlist its cooperation in your treatment plan?
If you haven’t learned to “talk” to fascia, then you’ve missed a very powerful, crucial component in your work. You need to communicate with it by working in a way that it understands and agrees to.
The fascia is pervasive throughout the face and body, and with a tensile strength of 2000 pounds per square inch, who do you think will prevail, you or the fascia?
So, if you’re going to try to continue to force tissues to comply, good luck with that.
You’ll end up hurting yourself, maybe your client, and not getting any meaningful results.
I teach in a way that respects your body as well as the client’s. Not fast movements. No forcing compliance of tissues.
This gives you the release of head, neck and jaw tension, lifting of facial contours, and moving fluids out of crevices that cause puffiness and discomfort, that is easy on your body, easy for the client to enjoy, and the results are long lasting.

How will you set yourself apart from others by doing facial or buccal massages?
If you want to learn how to create facial or buccal massage results that are more thoughtful, adaptive, and lasting, comment “LASTING” below.
Is your strategy to just follow the steps a teacher gives you and apply it to every client’s face?
Doesn’t that sound odd?
Your client deserves better and you are better than that. What they deserve, and what brings your career to new heights, is crafting the right session for your client. Not a predetermined set of steps. It's not the “same thing for everyone” approach. But a mindful, caring, personalized session that acknowledges your client and their specific needs.
If you want to learn how to craft personalized sessions of Buccal massage for your clients, join me this Summer for either an online or in-person course. Open your eyes to what is possible for you and your clients.

Our recent Graduate Coaching call got real.
Questions turned into hot seats.
Hot seats turned into breakthroughs.
Because facial massage isn’t just about a bunch of techniques.
It’s about:
• how you assess the real cause of the client’s concern
• how you decide which techniques to use and which to skip
• how you adapt as the fascia and muscles are providing feedback through your hands
So, you’re not guessing in the treatment room.
You’re leading.
That’s the difference.

This is where things start to feel messy.
You start doing everything, try to layer it in…
But something feels off.
The treatment gets crowded.
Your body works harder.
Your session gets longer.
But the results aren’t as clear.
Not because the techniques don’t work.
But because they weren’t meant to be added on top.
They need to be integrated.
This is exactly how I teach so that you choose the very best way to get the results quickly and efficiently, so you can optimize your client load and provide excellent results every time.

No client is asking for a list of modalities.
They’re saying:
“My face feels puffy.”
“My jaw hurts.”
“I want to look “snatched””
“I have a headache behind my eyes”
Our job is to deliver results - not with lots of techniques, but the right combination of techniques delivered with precision.
That’s what gets results for your client and fills your books quickly.

Most practitioners don’t realize they’re doing this.
They try to put so many techniques in one session..
Facials: full facial protocols, multiple masks, full face extractions, multiple facial massage types then massage for neck, shoulders, decollete, hands…
Massage Therapy: prone and supine for every body part then detailed work on the face.
Sounds thorough, but it often leads to:
longer sessions
rushing to get it all in
unclear results
You feeling drained
More techniques doesn’t mean better results.
It usually means less focus.

Busy looks like filling gaps and hoping clients return.
Demand looks like clients excited to rebook before they leave
and a schedule that fills itself.
The difference?
Results that make your work feel essential—not optional.
I’m hosting a free live class on April 25 on how to create that demand.
Comment BOOKED and I’ll send you the details.
