“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” ―Dr. Seuss
Our 8th grade students just completed the book The Crossover by Kwame Alexander. As a conclusion to reading the book they engaged in a Poetry Slam and Basketball game. They even had Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and Gatorade just like the characters did in the book. The students and staff had an awesome time! Shout out to our 8th grade teachers and ELA Teacher Leader Ms. Cadet.
