A packed house and a standing ovation for our students tonight at their performance of Finding Nemo, Junior!

Families, thank you so much for coming out to see the show! Did you see how our students shined on that stage?!

Shout out to the entire cast and crew of Finding Nemo, and as always a special shout out to Ms. Mckenzie for holding us down.

❗️And yes, attendance still counts, so we expect to see you in the building tomorrow bright and early at 8 AM 🤓🐾

Our Community School Forum is just around the corner! Parents, this one is just for you! This coming Wednesday June 3, from 3-6 p.m. dress to impress in Spring attire as we invite you to a Parents Night Out!

Black Music Month starts off with the sounds of a DJ’d silent disco, a live salsa quartet, and live jazz.
Food and refreshments will be provided for our guests.

👶Our school staff will provide activities and refreshments in separate spaces for P.S.297 students between the ages of 4 and 11 years old, so no need to worry about getting a babysitter for the afternoon!

📋Our Community school forum is an opportunity for parents to give us feedback on the services and supports that I’ve happened during this school year and to let us know what direction we should take for the following school year.

📆 We’re one week away from the biggest performance of our school year! Our students hit the stage for Disney’s Finding Nemo, Junior Thursday, May 28! Doors open at 5 PM for purchase of refreshments and souvenirs. The show promptly starts at 5:30. Don’t miss out and see you then!

The Scholastic Book Fair has been loads of fun! So many good books and awesome trinkets have been bought and many more are still available! The book fair is here all week, don’t miss it!

To close out Neurodiversity Celebration Month, we had a beautiful singalong at arrival and an incredibly fun Silent Disco to end the day!

Celebrating Neurodiversity Month has been a vibe! We’ve worn out most sensory friendly clothes, accomplished goals and finished projects by communicating in different ways other than talking, shared our special interests, and listened to some chill music!
And we aren’t done yet, we still have our Silent Disco to finish this week!
