🕵🏽‍♀️🔎 Crime Scene Investigation in Action!

Our Forensic Science students stepped into the role of crime scene investigators—carefully examining evidence, documenting observations, and using critical-thinking skills to uncover the truth. Every clue matters when science meets investigation! 🧪🧬

🪼 Diving into the fascinating world of jellyfish! Our Biology students participated in a hands-on lab exploring jellyfish anatomy, adaptations, movement, and survival. Science truly came to life as students observed, investigated, and thought like real scientists! 🔬🌊

CHS’s new class of 9th graders and new 10th - 12th graders (we love transfer students) spent two days and a night at Poconos Springs Camp. Students built connections with each other and their teachers.

The experience was supported by Junior Chaperones and Alumni Chaperones, who not only helped to supervise students but also shared their lived experiences as CHS students.

We’re particularly grateful for the support of our 4 Alumni Chaperones, who spent a couple days with us before embarking on their college freshman journey next week.

Led by Mr. Abdul-Hakim and Ms. McLaughlin, the Four Corners activity invited staff to reflect on what has the greatest impact on a student’s future: GPA, a caring adult, advanced coursework, or access to opportunities. From there, the conversation expanded beyond choosing one answer and focused on how we, as a school community, can better see the potential in all students and create multiple pathways for them to succeed.

Through the expansion of our AP program, Honors Academy, dual enrollment, and other meaningful opportunities. We are working to build a culture where more students are challenged, recognized, and empowered to see what is possible for their future.
