🚿 ROUGH-IN ➡️ FINISHED PRODUCT 🔥

This is why the work behind the wall matters.

Wall-mounted tub spout roughed in during the early stages of this custom home — measured, positioned, secured, and planned around the final finishes.

Fast-forward to the finished product… CLEAN. SHARP. CUSTOM. 👌

Anyone can look at the finished bathroom and say it looks beautiful.

Plumbers look at it and think about everything buried behind that wall that had to be DEAD ON for it to finish like this. 🎯

🚨 NYC RAIN DOESN’T WAIT FOR ANYONE 🌧️💦

This one got WILD.

The sewer company was bringing the new mains into the building from their street tap, so the temporary PVC setup had to come out.

Then NYC decided to OPEN THE SKY. 🌧️🌧️🌧️

With the temp piping removed, the trench started filling FAST — and that water was heading straight toward the building.

No time to overthink it.

We had to rig an EMERGENCY TEMPORARY DRAIN and send the water OUTSIDE before the building started flooding. 💦➡️🏢

And the fun part?

We had to make the connection WHILE WATER WAS STILL POURING DOWN THE PIPE. 😳

Definitely a challenge… but we got it done. Water redirected. Building saved. Crisis handled. 🔧💪

And before the safety police enter the comments… 😂

YES — my harness and safety glasses were definitely "in the truck." 👀🤣

Sometimes construction doesn’t give you a warning. The problem shows up, the water starts coming, and you’ve got to figure it out FAST.
