It's Saturday! Time for another Group Class from 2-4pm presented by Jalopy Theatre and School of Music & BetweentheBeats.

Shake things up with Richie Barshay's ongoing Body Percussion Group Class (no instruments necessary). Experience new ways of playing beats with your whole body, and enhance your rhythmic creativity in these hunker-down times. Learn new rhythms and ideas to take with you for hours of self-sustaining groove creation in the confines of your own home or neighborhood. For beginners and seasoned musicians alike, the class will tap into eastern and western musical traditions, cultivating a more grounded connection to time and the beat. Through elements of the Alexander Technique (Richie is also an AmSAT certified teacher), you’ll learn to use your body as a gateway to more rhythmic flow!
