We’ve officially launched the final term of the IMA Low Res program in Shanghai! After a warm welcome and orientation on Monday, our students dove right into exploring the city and have already hit the ground running with classes.
The energy is high, the ideas are flowing, and we’re excited to see what this term brings. Full steam ahead! 🇨🇳✨

One year, three cities, infinite possibilities — a highlight of our program is its global and hybrid format. In between three intense in-person sessions in New York, Berlin, and Shanghai, we have two online semesters where students learn, connect, and collaborate remotely.

As the Spring semester has begun, we can’t help but reflect on the extraordinary work our Low Res students showcased at in Berlin.

The event featured live performances, immersive video games, and interactive installations that highlighted the intersection of art, technology, and storytelling. These projects exemplified the creativity and innovation that define our program and community.

✨ Celebrating IMA Low Res Alums at the J-Term Startup Sprint 2025! ✨

We’re thrilled to spotlight Anastasia Dor (Tisch '24 and current NYU Tisch Research Fellow), Kami Karras (Tisch '24 and current NYU Tisch Research Fellow), and Jonny Sabbath (Tisch '24) for last week successfully completing the highly competitive J-Term Startup Sprint through the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute!

This year’s Sprint saw 70 applications for just 17 spots.Notably, 6 of the teams represented NYU Tisch's ITP and IMA Low Res programs! From January 6–17, participants immersed themselves in 10 days of intensive coaching and workshops Leslie eLab, and completed 683 customer discovery interviews to refine their ventures.
