Hello NYC Men Teach Community!
You are invited to our Annual Kick-off, NYCMT Presents: Rooted in Community - Find Your Village, on Wednesday, October 21, from 4:30 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
Every great educator knows that we were never meant to do this work alone. Whether you are a CUNY student exploring teaching, a preservice participant preparing to enter the classroom, an alumnus serving in our schools, or a campus partner supporting future educators, you are part of this village.
This year’s kick-off is an opportunity to reconnect, build meaningful relationships, and strengthen the community that supports our personal and professional growth.
Join NYC Men Teach as we:
Connect across the educator journey, bringing students, preservice participants, alumni, and school leaders together for mentorship, peer support, and career guidance.
Celebrate those who sustain our village, recognizing the faculty, staff, teacher education programs, and school partners who support our participants throughout their journey.
Highlight our collective impact, celebrating the NYC Men Teach partnership and our shared commitment to teacher diversity and greater representation in New York City classrooms.
Come reconnect with familiar faces, meet someone new, and find the people who will support your next chapter. We look forward to seeing you!
