The State University of New York Brooklyn Educational Opportunity Center (SUNY-BEOC) has provided academic and career training programs to eligible New Yorker’s since 1966. Supported by both, the University Center for Academic and Workforce Development (SUNY-UCAWD) and New York City College of Technology (CUNY-NYCCT), BEOC offers tuition free training to adult learners in New York.

Our 60th Certification Day Ceremony was filled with so many proud, emotional, and unforgettable moments as we celebrated the amazing Class of 2026. Congratulations to all of our graduates—we're so proud of everything you've accomplished!

A special congratulations to our Valedictorian, Melissa Walker, for delivering such an inspiring message. We were also honored to welcome our special guest, Leecia Eve, whose words of encouragement inspired our graduates as they prepare for their next chapter. It was meaningful to honor the legacy of Arthur O. Eve, whose vision and lifelong commitment to educational opportunity continue to impact generations of students.
