This week brings the very last workshop of the Spring 2026 Semester: the final session of the SEEK Health Major Network. 🧑‍⚕️🩺

Health majors—like nursing, pre‑med, radiology, dental hygiene, and other clinical programs—are some of the most academically and emotionally demanding paths in college. That’s why it’s essential for students to build and participate in health major support networks. These networks aren’t just for academic help—they’re part of preparing a professional field built on teamwork, communication, and resilience. 🥼💉

As the spring semester ends... the summer semester begins! 😎⛱️

This month we have three important dates for those of you are taking summer classes in Summer Session 1: college closure for Memorial Day, last day to file an ePermit request, and the last day to withdraw from a course with a 100% tuition refund. 🗓️

(These dates apply to 4-week, 5-week, and 7-week courses in Session 1.)

This week we are hosting part two of the Health Majors at City Tech workshop! 🩺🧑‍⚕️

Part two of this workshop will cover: majors related to health field, other opportunities in the health field, progression from pre-clinical Fall 2026, additional pre-admission requirement, financial aid implications, SEEK sources to support, and more! 💬💊🩻

This week we are hosting the "On Being A Person" workshop! 🫂🗣️

This workshop uses a podcast to explore and encourage thought and conversation around the timeless questions of the world. Who are we?, What does it mean to be human?, How do we want to live?, What will we become?, and What have we learned?

April is CUNY Disability Awareness Month, a CUNY-wide observance that celebrates disability culture and affirms the University’s ongoing commitment to supporting and uplifting the disability community.

In honor of CUNY Disability Awareness Month, City Tech's Center for Student Accessibility, presents: "Neurodiversity 101"

WHEN: Thursday, April 23, 2026 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Join us for an engaging and interactive workshop that explores the barriers faced by neurodivergent students and highlights best practices for fostering belonging, access, and academic success in higher education. This workshop is for the City Tech Community including students, faculty, and staff.

Jessica Dantzler! 🎉

Jessica is a proud SEEK graduate of New York City College of Technology, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services in 2008. Determined to continue her academic journey, Jessica went on to obtain her Master of Social Work from Hunter College's Silberman School of Social Work in 2014, and most recently earned her LMSW, marking yet another milestone in her professional and personal growth.
