Sunday School with Diana

You can not prepare for the future, if you do not understand the Past.

Sunday School with Diana was started during the 2020 Pandemic with the intent to share the Gospel, while intensively learning of the historical accounts that are rooted in the Bible.

Happy Passover to everyone. How is your week so far? I'm exhausted, but determined! 😇

This past Sunday I began preparations for the Passover and thought I would share that moment with you.

To be clear I am not Jewish. I am an Evangelical Christian. To my viewers who may be Jewish please do not condmen me because my prepartion doesn't adhere to yours. 😬

There are many Christians that recognize the Passover because it is the Pre amble to what we observe on a monthly basis:
The Holy Communion. Better known as: La Santa Cena. ( The Holy Supper)

We especially give recognition of this during our Holy week of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Known by many as Easter. (There's a questionable interconnection there, but that's a subject for a different day.)

The symbolism found within the Passover has duality for Christians.

We can see How God sent the deliverer, Moses to free the people from bo***ge. We also see how God sent His ONLY son- The Messiah, to free us from the bo***ge of sin and to redeem the Jewish People.

We see the Messiah in the Passover.

Such a thing gives us a Blessed Hope for the Future.

I pray that your Passover be filled with God's Love and Promises.

Pray for the Hostages.
Pray for the Nations.
Pray for God's
Grace and Mercy.

Let me know what you think about my preparation. 😊

I first heard Modeh Ani at the Washington march just shortly after October 7th. I couldn't understand what was being said, but, I knew by the way Omer was moving it was a prayer and it was a prayer that had great meaning.
After looking up the song I learned it is a Prayer that is said every morning by Jews before they get out of bed. It is a Thanksgiving prayer.
Enjoy this Prayer. The translated lyrics are just below the link.

Modeh Ani (I offer my thanks to you)

I offer my thanks to you, every morning
For having returned me my soul
I offer my thanks to you for the clothes
You have laid on my body
To keep me from the cold, you protect me

I offer my thanks to you, every morning
For the light, for the fact that I am alive
I thank you for the bread
You have put on my table
So I won't know hunger, and so I won't feel pain.

I offer my thanks to you for my countless smiles
For my talents and for all my songs
All of my songs are dedicated to you now,
know that I thank you.

I will cry for you, your glorious name, I will call for you Yah
For you are my life for you my thanks
I will call for you Ya, I will call for you Ya.

I offer my thanks to you, every morning
For the strength, for my father and for my mother
I offer my thanks to you, for the rain you poured on my fields
To care for my loved ones, you gave me my life.
